Our Committee

For the day to day running of the club we have several members on our committee who, like our coaches, are all volunteers. If you need to get in touch with any of our committee please click on the 'Contact' button below.

Keiron Jones

Chairman and Treasurer

Keiron had played for the first team for 9 years and is now playing for the reserve team. He is going into his 8th year as a coach and took on the role as Chairman in September 2020. His main aim is to grow the members of the club, make it more accessible and an integral part of the community and the biggest task of all which is to develop facilities! The biggest project is getting The Athletic ready for summer 2022!!

Female Soccer Coach

Michelle Smith

Michelle is going into her 4th year as Safeguarding officer for the club. She goes over and above to make sure everything is done as it should be and her prime concern is the welfare of all our members. She is also a big asset to us and a huge help with key decisions and ensuring all our policies and procedures are up to date.

Josh Locke

Junior Secretary

Josh is the longest serving member of the club and this season will be his 15th!! He has had many roles over the years (almost every role on the committee!) and this year he is the Junior Secretary and will be an essential part of the organisation of all matches for our under 12s, 13s, 14s and girls team.

Alex Bateman (Scooby)

Mini Secretary

Scooby is heading into his 9th season with the club. He has been coaching for that duration and has recently joined the committee as mini secretary although he has been acting in that role for a few years. He oversees our mini section which consists of under 6s/7s/8s/9s/10s+11s. He is a key member of the club and alongside the Chairman he has been working hard on The Athletic project for a couple of years and is happy to see it finally starting to get somewhere.

Owain Locke

Comet Champion

Owain has played a big part at the club for a number of years. He has played for the club since the age of 7 and he is just starting his 5th year as a coach! He also won the FAW 'Young Volunteer of the year' award a few years back! He has joined the committee this season as the Comet Champion and has worked wonders in getting all our members signed up on the new system which is a constant moving target!
